Stranger Things Season 2 Review
The much-anticipated television thriller, Stranger Things, released on the 27th of October 2017. My twitter page was flooded with Stranger Things tweets for weeks. I remember having a mad urge to eat Eggos. I binge-watched Season 2 and I must say, unlike most sequels, it did not disappoint.
Stranger Things is one of those shows that you cannot help but binge-watch. The theme music is awesome, the actors are excellent performers and the story is captivating. Mike, Dustin, Will and Lucas have a great chemistry, but their bond of friendship is tested in this season. A new character is introduced, who creates a rift in their friendship. Nancy deals with her misery and guilt over Barbara’s death in her own way. Jonathan begins to come out of his shell. Steve emerges as one of the main participants and not just an observer. Will realizes he has not gotten over his ordeal in the Upside Down and Eleven’s power grows. The Upside Down is more dangerous than ever.
Season 2 is not as good as Season 1, but it comes close. In terms of development of the personalities of the characters and intricacy of plot, it surpasses the first season. It is a thrilling and engrossing television series and definitely a must-watch.
